What is Mobility Management?

Mobility management is a customer-focused approach to connecting riders with transportation services so that seniors, people with disabilities, low-income individuals, and youth can access the trips they need to get to jobs, social events, and community services.

JAUNT’s Mobility Management service area includes the City of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Louisa, Fluvanna, Nelson and Greene.

Mobility Management at JAUNT includes education and outreach, information and referral to regional transportation resources, collaboration with nonprofits, human service agencies and transportation providers, travel training for individuals or groups of individuals, and working with our communities to discover unmet needs and find creative and affordable ways to meet those needs.
